Thank you to all those who submitted abstracts for the 2011 International Concrete Sustainability Conference. You should have received your notification of acceptance (or rejection) on February 28, 2011. If you have not been notified, please contact Lionel Lemay of NRMCA, LLemay@nrmca.org, 847-918-7101.
If your abstract has been accepted, please follow the schedule and procedures outlined below in preparing for the conference.
March 14, 2011: Confirm your participation in the conference by e-mailing Lionel Lemay of NRMCA, LLemay@nrmca.org. Include any corrections to your Paper and/or Presentation title, abstract, authors and biography. See notes below.
Note 1: As a presenter at the conference you will be expected to prepare a Paper and/or Presentation, pay for travel and lodging to attend the conference, and pay the speaker registration fee. Click here for travel information. Click here for registration information.
Note 2: If you do not confirm your participation in the conference by March 14, 2011, NRMCA will replace your spot on the program with another speaker.
Note 3: If you do not present at the conference, your Paper and/or Presentation will not be published in the conference proceedings.
April 30, 2011: Prepare and submit your draft Paper and/or Presentation for review by NRMCA using the Paper and Presentation Guidelines to LLemay@nrmca.org or on CD-ROM by mail to Lionel Lemay, National Ready Mixed Concrete Association, 1244 Crane Blvd., Libertyville, IL, 60048. For large files, consider using services such as www.mailbigfile.com or www.yousendit.com.
May 30, 2011: NRMCA will provide comments on draft Papers and/or Presentations.
June 30, 2011: Prepare and submit your final Paper and/or Presentation using the Paper and Presentation Guidelines to LLemay@nrmca.org or on CD-ROM by mail to Lionel Lemay, National Ready Mixed Concrete Association, 1244 Crane Blvd., Libertyville, IL, 60048. For large files, consider using services such as www.mailbigfile.com or www.yousendit.com. Complete and submit the Copyright Transfer Form.
July 15, 2011: Early registration and early hotel cutoff. Be sure to register and make hotel reservations before this date.
August 9-11, 2011: We look forward to seeing you present your work at the 2011 International Concrete Sustainability Conference, Boston, August 9-11, 2011.
